The Granary

The Granary, now used as a gift shop for the Museum, was once the building that would have stored all the feed and grain for the farm animals. You can still see the chute that came from the second floor to fill the wheel barrow with grain. It was built on piers to prevent the rodents from entering the building and stealing all the grain.   Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t.
