The Realy Farm House
The Realy Farm House was begun in 1855 with the addition of the brick sitting room added onto the original two story log house. The log house stood where the dining room and south porch stands today. Upon completion of the brick home the log house was removed and the wooden structures you see today were completed by the 1880’s. The view you see in the above photo is the East side of the house which shows the porch to the sitting room and the Victorian bay window in the parlor. The house has had many transformations over the years. When any new building styles came into vogue they would incorporate them into their home.
